Stockimg.aiis a browser-based AI design tool. It’s similar to Canva in the things you can create, such as social posts, logos, or background imagery. Additionally, it offers a slightly different selection of design outputs to Canva, like book covers and web interfaces.
Stockimg.ai is a freemium tool. To access the AI tools, you’ll need to pay for the Starter or Premium plans. The first three days are free before the payment sets in, which is reasonably priced.

What Does Canva Do Better Than Stockimg.ai?
Canva has a more flexible subscription plan. Its free plan allows for lots of design, saving options, graphics, and even some of its AI features. Canva’s free trial is longer too, allowing you to get much more use from it than Stockimg’s three-day offering.
When creating designs in Canva, for most uses, you can edit elements, change parts of the layout, duplicate for multiple uses, and save in many formats and quality options. Stockimg has less versatility in its generated images and saving options.
Even though Stockimg’s AI generators can create infinite results, sometimes you just want to browse through a library to select pre-made elements—Canva is great for that. Canva’s pull is that it’s a design tool with some AI features, rather than an AI tool with some design features, like Stockimg.ai.
Does Stockimg.ai Hold a Candle to Canva?
I wouldn’t consider Stockimg.ai a direct competitor of Canva. Although its categories of use are similar—social media posts, posters, illustrations, logos—the ability to personally design and craft your designs is lost in Stockimg.
Stockimg is a great AI generator with multiple uses. It can be used as a personal library of various elements. You can save your generated results and upload them to Canva, wherein you can utilize its extensive tools to create great designs. Overall, I’d say Canva still runs ahead with its huge library of elements, boasting toolbox, and many great AI features.
