I’ve been so busy playingDead or Alive 5 [super-mini preview: Beautiful, fun, and packed with so many modes that you won’t grow bored of it.]that I forgot to tell you about the newly revealed character, Mila. She’s a young mixed martial arts fighter that trains hard every day at the gym to be at the top of her game. Her adoration for one particular fighter has her entering the Dead or Alive tournament to live out her dream of taking on this fighter.
In our gallery you’ll see Mila going up against both Zack and Tina, and also working at her part-time job at a diner. A few more shots show her “Street” stage, where a Power Blow can send the big sign you see into the path of an oncoming train.
I’ve found that Mila is pretty fun to play. Given her MMA background, she has lots of takedowns to supplement the jabs and kicks you’d expect. So, lots of pinned down face punching and whatnot. Some of her moves seem to be inspired by DOA character Bass.Hmm.
