Daredevil: Born Againhas a lot to do, but bringing in Marvel television heroes and reuniting some of its best pairings from the Netflix shows should certainly be a high priority.Bringing Karen and Frank back together makes a lot of sense because the performers are both strong and share excellent chemistry as well as a fascinating on-screen dynamic.Set photos and the trailer have suggested that Punisher will be working alongside Daredevil throughout the season, creating a number of natural ways for the two to spend screen time together.
In the comics, there is very little connection between Karen and Frank.Karen is primarily a love interest for Daredevil, while the Punisher has his own stories and his own family.However, one of the best parts of the MCU is that it is able to deviate from comics lore when necessary. Finding how different actors and characters work together and pairing them up naturally has made for some of the best moments in films likeAvengers: Endgame.
