Ron D. Moore: We just started shooting last week, so a lot of the storylines beyond the first episode are still being reworked and rewritten. We try to keep a lot of that as surprises, but he’ll be a key figure on the show.

Along withRonin, who is known for his role as Oleg Burov inThe Americansand Yevgeny Gromov inHomeland, the upcoming installment of Apple TV+’s alternate reality sci-fi will welcome back returning actors Joel Kinnaman, Wrenn Schmidt, Krys Marshall, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, Toby Kebbell, Tyner Rushing, Daniel Stern, and Svetlana Efremova. In some cases, like Kebbell, they only joined theFor All Mankindcastin season 4. Others, such as Kinnaman, who plays Ed Baldwin, have been with the show since the beginning.
It’s also been revealed thatFor All Mankindseason 5 will include a reunion with Kinnaman, as the upcoming episodes will feature Mirelle Enos. Recently seen in the short-lived AMC dramedyLucky Hankopposite Bob Odenkirk, the actor also received an Emmy nod for her performance as Sarah Linden in the AMC crime dramaThe Killing, working together with Kinnaman.
