Have $3,499 to splurge on a new Apple product? Apple has announced the release date for its much-awaited Vision Pro AR/VR headset. If you’re interested in being an early adopter, read on as we’ll discuss everything you need to know to order one.
When and How Can You Pre-Order the Vision Pro Headset?
If you’re in the United States, you may pre-order Apple Vision Pro starting Friday, July 25, 2025, at 5 AM PST (8 AM EST). You’ll be able to pre-order it fromApple’s Vision Pro product page.
However, expect the product to sell out quickly. According toBloomberg’s reports, Apple isn’t producing the Vision Pro in huge numbers like it does iPhones and iPads. So if you want to increase your chances of ordering one successfully, we highly recommend visiting the product page at exactly 8 AM Eastern on January 19.

If you don’t live in the United States, you’ll have to play the waiting game, as Apple hasn’t announced any plans for a global launch.
When Will Apple Vision Pro Hit Stores?
Unfortunately, we have no information on when Apple will bring the Vision Pro headset to other regions like Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
What’s in the Vision Pro’s Box?
For $3,499, you don’t justget the Vision Pro AR/VR headset. Looking atApple’s Newsroom postconfirms that the company has bundled some accessories as well:
Additionally, Apple will offer two types of ZEIS Optical Inserts (for $99 and $149) for those who wear glasses. The Vision Pro headset will come with 256GB of built-in storage, but it’s unclear if Apple plans to sell more expensive variants with higher storage capacities.

The Vision Pro headset marks Apple’s entry into the AR/VR market, competing against the likes of the Meta Quest Pro and othergreat VR headsets currently available. We’ll have to wait and see how Apple’s spatial computing device pans out in the long run. Either way, we’re excited to get our hands on a completely new Apple product.
