After connecting the DualShock 4 controller to a PS5, you could remove the micro-USB cable to use the controller wirelessly. However, if you’d prefer to skip this step and wirelessly connect your PS4 controller to a PS5 via Bluetooth, it couldn’t be easier.

Can You Use a PS5 Controller With a PS4?
