Latest OnePlus Ace leaks don’t align with previous renders
After a few years of focusing primarily on flagship phones, OnePlus has been diversifying its portfolio with anumber of recent launchestargeting prices across the spectrum. Some of that expansion could be at the higher end, like with apremium version of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which we’ve recently heard rumored. But there’s also exciting stuff happening on the other end, and this week we’re checking out some early rumors about a Dimensity 8100-powered handset that may arrive as the OnePlus Ace, including a marketing render showing off the phone’s back.
The new pics show off the rear of the device with its large, protruding camera module, atop a stylish grooved pattern. Two color options are present — black and a silvery blue (bluish silver?) — and the latter seems to have a bit of that color-shifting action going on. We’ve also got a new shot that’s supposed to show the OnePlus 10R in particular, and compared torenders from last month, the newer ones detail a slightly more stylized design. Both models still appear to be based on theRealme GT Neo 3, meaning they’ll probably feature near-identical internal hardware.

XDA Developershas also managed to get its hands on some wallpapers from the OnePlus Ace/10R, courtesy of developermlgmxyysd, which youcan downloadin their full size. It’s possible that the colors of the three wallpapers correspond to color options that the device will be sold in — Arctic Glow, Green, and Sierra Black.
According to previous information shared by leakerDigital Chat Station, the OnePlus Ace will continue the legacy of theOppo Reno Acefrom back in 2019, with a focus on performance and charging. That means some help fromMediaTek’s quite capable Dimensity 8100 chip, andsupport for insanely fast 150W charging.

A separate leakrevealsthat the OnePlus Ace should feature an FHD+ 6.7-inch display with a center-aligned punch-hole. We hear some promising things about its imaging performance, and the primary camera on the phone is expected to use Sony’s IMX766 sensor, featured on the likes of theXiaomi 12.
