2025 Could Be Blumhouse’s Best Year In A While

Familiar Blumhouse Directors Will Return

What excites me about this Blumhouse slate more than anything is the fact that it will see the return of multiple key Blumhouse directors. This includesDrop’s Landon, who has worked with the distributor before, but he is not the only one returning to Blumhouse.Wolf Man, for instance, is directed by Leigh Whannell, who previously helmed the 2020 remake ofThe Invisible Man. The upcomingsequelThe Black Phone 2will also see the return of Scott Derrickson. This strong directing slate makes me confident that2025 could be one of the best years for Blumhouse.
