With the incredible strength of the series' new villains, the world of shinobi has never been more threatened.

The Uzuhiko Is A Double-Edged Sword

Despite Its Huge Power, It Has Weaknesses

Rasengan Uzuhiko first appeared in chapter #2 in the fight against Code, and it was shown to be deadly given howit uses a planet’s chakraand how Code was instantly defeated. However, that was not its full power on display, as Boruto was holding back as to let Code retreat to his hideout and follow him there. Against Hidari, though, Boruto had every intent to kill, and so hit him with an amped-up Uzuhiko. Interestingly, Boruto said that he hadn’t fully charged up the Uzuhiko but had no choice but to hit Hidari with it, meaningit could’ve been much more powerful.

Unfortunately, the Uzuhiko has two weaknesses, which can prove fatal. Since Uzuhiko works by gathering chakra from the planet,Boruto’s feet must be planted on the ground, and he can’t fly or jump around to evade an attack, as it will disrupt the process. The second weakness is that it takes some time to activate Uzuhiko, and the more chakra you absorb from the ground, the more powerful the jutsu. This leaves Boruto wide open and gives the opponent a chance to attack him.

Every New Technique Boruto Learned During The Time Skip

With each chapter showing a new power that Boruto has learned, it is hard to keep up with how fast his inventory of jutsu is growing.

Despite these weaknesses, Boruto’s statement that the power of Ransengan Uzuhiko has no limit is impressive, as it instantly catapults this jutsu among the most powerful ever seen in the franchise. The fact that it was able to obliterate one of the self-aware Divine Trees, who are perhaps the strongest villains ever appeared, is proof that Boruto’s statement is not an empty boast.
