The Wish Machine is a type of station you’re able to build inOnce Humanto get random item blueprints once you use this device resembling an arcade machine. The rewards given from the Wish Machine may be somewhat random, but they can help you skip the grind surrounding powerful gear. However, you’ll have to learn how to play a few mini-games on the Machine to gain its greatest rewards.

Anyone who accesses the Wish Machine needs to become familiar with the new type of currency it introduces into the game. This device adds something calledStarchromto your available currencies alongside the standard Energy Link you’ve likely already seen. Starchrom is considered a premium currency to collect, meaning you won’t find it among the rewards offered inactive codes forOnce Human.

The other way to interact with a Wish Machine comes fromdoing the"Complete Concept of Materialization"main story quest. This mission will put you on a path where you can encounter the Machine naturally as you head toward the Broken Delta area. How To Use The Wish Machine

Play Mini-Games To Earn Random Rewards

Interacting with a Wish Machine gives you two options - to either"Make A Wish"or visit the"Blueprint Shop"on the device. Making a Wish takes you to a series of playable mini-games that let you earn Starchrom in a gacha-esque loop that gives you random rewards. There are six different mini-games you can choose from no matter whatworld inOnce Humanyou access the Wish Machine from.

The games are very simple where youspendStarchromto"roll"for random rewards. For example, the game called"The Long-Awaited"will see you smack a mole out of a hole every time you spend 100 Starchrom, giving you a random item or blueprint as a result. These games are all about RNG and luck, so you can’t try to grind high scores for greater rewards you know ahead of time.

Rewards from the Wish Machine are split into different pools that cost more Starchrom to roll from. For example, Legendary rewards are offered in the"S"pool, while Epic gear is usually given from the"A"prize pool, and so on.

Without any ability to anticipate what rewards you’re going to get, the Wish Machine acts as an alternative to grinding for specific rare drops. You canspend less Starchrom at the Wish Machine than you would in other shopswithinOnce Human, so the device acts as a backup option of sorts. Anyone who’s struggled tofarm rare items like Acidmay want to take their chances making a wish rather than continue a tedious task.

The Blueprint Shopsells specific item recipes in exchange for Starchrom, but everything being offered is extremely expensive compared to the random rolls. You can get blueprints for weapons, key gear, and sets from here, but using the gacha functions of a Wish Machine inOnce Humancould help you collect all of those item types at a reduced Starchrom cost.
