InOnce Human, players must explore the continent of Nalcott, a mysterious world containing vast regions filled with settlements, wildlife, and terrible monsters called deviants. The Southeast corner of this island is broken up into various regions, with Red Sands and Blackheart being the most dangerous, but you’ll need to travel there if you want to find every Mystical Crate.
Mystical Crates provide necessary loot to power up your gear, especially weapon and armor blueprint fragments. Fragments like these can be used to calibrate - or power up - evenrare gear unlocked through the Wish Machine. Here are the locations of all Mystical Crates in Red Sands and Blackheart, including the Orb Puzzle Crates.

Red Sands Mystical Crate Locations In Once Human
There Are 11 Mystical Crates To Find
Red Sands is a dusty desert region containing valuable resources such as tungsten ore and oil, both of which are necessary to power up your Meta-Human forOnce Human’s endgame. Enemies in this area are quite difficult, averaging around level 40. Blackfell is this region’s stronghold, as well as the final stronghold of the game, currently. This region is also home to the game’scurrent strongest Monolith boss.

In the Glass Room

Enter the Institute from the southern side, fighting your way past Rosetta Soldiers, and head straight to the glass atrium with the television screens. Carefully jump down between the glass room and the floor, and use the paraglider to glide to the room below. Be ready for a fight, as there are several Rosetta Soldiers and a Rosetta Bruiser guarding the door.
On the Roof

Approach the LEA Research Lab from the top of the cliffs (not using the Northern entrance road). Paraglide down from the clifftop onto the checkpoint roof, where you’ll find the starting purple orb. Watch out for the two Rosetta Snipers in their towers. If you enter the area from the road, you’re able to also reach the roof by paragliding from one of the sniper towers.
On top of the Silo

Just to the west of the Rift Anchor is a small, metal platform with four pipes running underneath it. From this platform, face north and jump onto the gray cabinet-like platform, then climb onto the square object with the two circular exhaust ports on top. Carefully hop from here to the light silver pipes to the south, and follow them right (east) then turn right again (south). Looking west, you will see the crate on the silo with yellow railing around it. Jump from the pipes to the silo, and you should just barely catch the yellow railing and pull yourself onto it. Using the Spring Legs Whim Potion or Stardust Energy Drink will make this much easier.
On the Semi Truck

In the northwest corner of Blackfell Oil Fields, you will find a blue semi truck hauling a trailer of red oil barrels. The first purple orb can be found on the semi, just in front of the trailer.
On top of the Plaza

From the south side of the building complex, find the stairs along the sidewalk. Climb the stairs then double back to your right, where you’ll see a Weather Forecast Elite enemy in an open space. After defeating the enemy, you’re able to claim the crate in the middle of the plaza.
Inside the Steeple

The only way to reach this crate is by using a Spring Legs Whim Potion or Stardust Energy Drink to increase your jump height. At the north side of the building, jump onto the awning over the front door on the west side. From here, jump right (west) onto the roof. Continue up and over past the tower on your right, and you’ll see a ladder on the south side of the tower. Climb the ladder and drop down into the steeple to find the crate.
In the Cul-de-sac

In the cul-de-sac, the first purple orb is just on the northeast side of the inner circle. Be wary of The Butchers Elite enemy in the area.
At the top of the Tower

On the north side of the red school building, look for the wooden Vulture ramps. Follow the ramps up and climb up the short ladder, then continue ahead to the right around the wooden walkway. Turn back inside the wooden tower and continue to climb to the top, where a Vulture Sniper will be. The chest is on the top platform.
In a Basement Room

In the building at the top of the Rosetta compound, next to the northeast Rift Anchor, enter the front doors and head right (south) to the stairs. Continue down the stairs until you reach a room with yellow walls and a walkway around a lower room. Either take the stairs down or jump off the walkway and look west for the glass room with “WARNING VIRUS LEAK” written above.
On the Ladder

In the area with the polluted pools, look for the first purple orb floating halfway up a ladder to the walkways. If coming from the east where the Rift Anchor and other crate are, you can paraglide down to the rooftop where the Rosetta Crusher is to have a good vantage point to clear the other Rosetta Soldiers.
In a Large Glass Room
2007, -1533
From the Forsaken Monolith Teleporter, head south into the large building. Follow the corridor down and to the left, where you’ll enter a very large room. Immediately turn right and head up the first flight of stairs, turning left onto the walkway. Head right around the corner where you’ll see a very large security door and a console needing a Rosetta V2 Access Card. Open the doors and head left (south) where you’ll see the crate at the end of the room. If you are missing the V2 card, turn east and look down on the well-lit platform below. The Rosetta Mechanic will drop it when defeated.
Blackheart Mystical Crate Locations In Once Human
There Are 6 Mystical Crates To Find
Though its appearance may be similar to Red Sands, Blackheart is the final region of the southeast corner of Nalcott, and by far the most dangerous. Enemies here are around level 50, with some going even higher, despite the current player cap being level 50. There are no strongholds here, and only two settlements, as well as the highest tier frontiers for the season scenarios.
On the Side of the Road

From the teleporter, head north down the hill towards the road. You’ll see the first purple orb just south of the road.
On the Island

The starting purple orb is on the west side of the largest island in the middle of the river.
Between White Cliff and Falcon’s Perch Frontiers
On the Road

Just north of Quicksand Ruins Frontier, the first purple orb can be found on the road.
On the Top Platform

Enter the compound from the south and head up the metal stairs at (2858, -333) where the Vulture Sniper is. Continue following the walkway until it branches off to the left (west). Take this path and continue to follow underneath the second walkway until you reach a ladder in the middle. Continue to follow the ladders up the platforms, defeating enemies and looting on the way, until you reach the very top platform with the crate.
On the Riverbank

Turn west off the main road or follow the dirt road along the riverbank. The first purple orb will be on the southern bank of the river.
In the Bedroom

Enter White Cliff from the West side and continue down the ramp under the complex. Head down and to the right where you’ll find an elevator on the south wall of the center tower. Take the elevator up, head down the corridor, and turn through the right doorway. In this room, turn left through the glass doors and loop around left again to the stairs. Head up the stairs and follow the path around to the walkway on the right, where you’ll see the crate in the glass room next to the bed.

These Mystical Crates are currently the hardest to obtain inOnce Human, requiring players to brave high-level areas with dangerous enemies. Make sure to find all of them during the season scenarios, as the Orb Puzzle Crates in particular unlock season goals.
