Every One Piece Straw Hat Pirate Ranked From Least to Most Powerful

The Straw Hat Pirates have become some of the strongest characters in One Piece, and here’s how they all rank against each other in terms of power.

The Four Emperors, Akainu, and Many More Will Be Critical Moving Forward

During the final moments of chapter #1121, as Vegapunk’s recording spoke about the titular treasure,an array of iconic characters was shown in a fantastic double-page spread. This illustration included some of the most powerful pirates, World Government, and Revolutionary Army members in the world. This stunning picture, while amazing on its own, seems to imply that the characters depicted in it will be the ones to play a major role during the upcoming events of the Final Saga.

While not explicitly stated, the fact that Eiichiro Oda chose to picture these particular characters asthe mysterious One Piece treasureis mentioned, is likely intentional. Oda uses double-page spreads sparingly, and always to underscore important moments of his story. The individuals featured in the image make sense as the key players of the remaining chapters of the manga.

The Straw Hat Pirates assembled on Onigashima

All of the Four Emperors have already made their intentions of getting the One Piece clear in previous chapters. Other individuals, like Sabo and Dragon, have declared war against Im and the rest of the World Government. On the other hand, the strongest protectors of the established order are shown, teasing the epic battles to come anda new mysterious character that bears an uncanny similarity with Shanks.

A Battle of Philosophies May Occur Soon

The Characters Shown in the Image All Have Different Ways of Seeing the World

While no clear pattern can be seen between the characters who made an appearance in the spread of chapter #1121, an argument can be made about themembodying different types of philosophy. The members ofthe Revolutionary Army fight for a future in which the World Government’s oppression does not exist. Im and the Marines want to maintain the status quo and eliminate all those who dare oppose them. Despite how arbitrary Oda’s character selection may seem, it seems as if they were selected for a deeper reason.

There are several individuals present in the illustration that are natural enemies. There is a high likelihood that these characters will be forced to fight another fellow member of the Final Saga’s main protagonists at some point in the future. Nonetheless, not all the battles taking place from now until the end of the series may be physical. For example, there is a possibility ofKoby representing the ideal of what a true Marine should be, as opposed to Akainu’s ruthless and absolute approach to justice.

One Piece’sFinal Sagawill undoubtedly be filled with excitement, outstanding battles, and amazing discoveries. The small but significant hints Oda gave fans in chapter #1121 only make the hype for these upcoming events that much higher. No matter who ends up facing each other in the future, followers of the series are promised non-stop action and adrenaline.
