This stunning picture, while amazing on its own, seems to imply that the characters depicted in it will be the ones to play a major role during the upcoming events of the Final Saga.
While not explicitly stated, the fact that Eiichiro Oda chose to picture these particular characters asthe mysterious One Piece treasureis mentioned, is likely intentional. Oda uses double-page spreads sparingly, and always to underscore important moments of his story. The individuals featured in the image make sense as the key players of the remaining chapters of the manga.

Nonetheless, not all the battles taking place from now until the end of the series may be physical.
