WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE BACHELORETTE SEASON 21!
Summary
Reality Steve has dropped a shocking bombshell about Jenn Tran’sThe Bacheloretteseason 21 winner Devin Strader, which won’t air on the show. Reality Steve had previously spoiled that Jenn, a 26-year-old physician assistant student originally from Hillsdale, New Jersey, who’s currently living in Miami, Florida, chose Devin, a 28-year-old freight company owner from Houston, Texas. They got engaged at the end ofThe Bacheloretteseason 21, but Jenn has teased that her ending has never happened before. It’ll be exciting to see exactly what she meant by that.
His answer was, ‘I believe 9/11 was an inside job.'"

In a YouTube Live,Reality Steverevealed that, on premiere night, during a game of Truth or Dare in the Bachelor Mansion during the cocktail party,Devin was asked to name a conspiracy theory that he believes. Reality Steve stated,“His answer was, ‘I believe 9/11 was an inside job.'“He added that Jenn was there when Devin said made the comment.
However, Reality Steve confirmed that this won’t air on the show. He didn’t understand why Devin would say this, and he thought that he should’ve made up a different answer.

Reality Steve Implores Fans Not To Send Devin Strader Hate
Bachelor Nation Is Notorious For Their Social Media Negativity
Reality Steve then emphasized thatDevin’s error in judgment isn’t an invitation forBachelorettefans to send him hate. In the past,Bachelorfranchise contestants have been the recipients of negative, hateful, and even racist messages from fans of the shows. Reality Steve said,“This isn’t to mean to throw hate at somebody, call them names, message them on Instagram, write nasty things in their captions. You don’t have to do any of that.”
It’ll be intriguing to see if any of Devin’sBacheloretteco-stars call him out for his commentlater in the season, or even during “The Men Tell All” episode.Devin was born on August 19, 2025, so perhaps he truly doesn’t understand how offensive comments about 9/11 being a conspiracy really are because he was only five years old when it happened. It’s not an excuse for what he said, but perhaps an explanation. No matter what happens next, Reality Steve is right that people shouldn’t view Devin’s mistake as permission to attack him.
It’s obvious thatThe Bacheloretteproducers are protecting Devinbecause they know that he got engaged to Jenn. They probably left the scene out of the premiere because they knew that it would tarnish Devin’s image and change the narrative of him being the hero of the story. The controversy also would’vetaken away from Jenn’s journeybecause there surely would’ve been a lot of negative press about it. However, just like in past controversies, Devin’s comments were leaked anyway, so perhaps it would’ve been better for him to address them, instead of the producers sweeping them under the rug as usual.
