The new season will pick up after the chaoticSeveranceseason 1 ending, with the official logline revealing that the story will at least partially focus on Mark and his friends learning the dire consequences of having tested and pushed against the severance barrier. Although specific plot details are being kept under wraps, it’s teased that Mark and his companions are headed down a “path of woe.”
More is known about theSeverancecast, however. Along with Lower and Scott,the returning stars encompass all the major regular and recurring performers.That includes Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Several of those faces can be seen in the announcement trailer, though what they’ll be doing in this next chapter remains to be seen.
