A newSquid Gameseason 2 teaser features the return of the Salesman (Gong Yoo). In season 1,the Salesman was the one who recruited Seong Gi-hun(Lee Jung-jae) by playing a game of Ddakji with him and giving him a mysterious card with a phone number on the back. He recognized that Gi-hun was desperate to make money and took advantage of this. DuringSquid Gameseason 1’s ending, Gi-hun sees the Salesman from afar, who is continuing his work of recruiting individuals desperate to make money.
Netflixhas now releaseda new teaser showing the Salesman returning in season 2 with his blue and red Ddakji tiles, along with cash, and the cards featuring the games' logo and the phone number on the back. Check out the teaser below:
The teaser begins in the Salesman’s apartment as he wakes up, showers, gets dressed, and prepares for the day of work ahead of him. He then travels to a subway station, the same location where he crossed paths with Gi-hun, and asks an unseen individual about playing a game with him.

As one of the few surviving characters whose story continues inSquid Gameseason 2, there is a unique opportunity to flesh out his character while playing an important role in the conflict betweenGi-hun and the Front Man.
