In addition to the new Eleven tease, the images also feature Brown’s poodle, Winnie, and Matt Duffer. Interestingly,the photos also include a shot of the exterior of the Hawkins National Laboratory covered in tentacles, teasing one last return to this iconic show location.

Millie Bobby Brown’s Character Will Be More Important Than Ever
Season 5 will serve as the end of the line for the coreStranger Thingscast, and Eleven is poised to play a more important role than ever before. In previous seasons,Brown’s character has served essentially as humanity’s main line of defense against the monsters of the Upside Down, and the upcoming batch of episodes will seemingly see her occupy this role once again. Though Eleven defeats Vecna in season 4, the show’s penultimate season concludes with the villain’s plan working and Hawkins becoming ground zero for an Upside Down incursion into the real world.
Stranger Thingsis expected to feature a significant time jump after the events of season 5, but the exact length has not yet been revealed.
After the events of theStranger Thingsseason 4 ending, it’s looking like Hawkins will essentially become a battleground. Previous batches of behind-the-scenes set photos have revealed tentacles across other areas of Hawkins as well, suggesting Eleven and her allies will struggle to contain the spread of the Upside Down. Since Vecna remains alive in the show, it’s likely that another confrontation between the two is looming.
Eleven’s Stranger Things Story Can’t End Until The Show Explains The Original Villain’s Big Mystery
Eleven’s story in Stranger Things needs closure before it ends, including answers concerning the Netflix show’s original villain in season 1.
