In a new interview withIGN,Superman & Loisco-showrunner Brent Fletcher shared some new clues about Tom Cavanagh’s upcoming guest gig in the final season. Fletcher addressed the rumors of Cavanagh playing theReverse-Flash inSuperman & Loisseason 4, saying the following about Cavanagh’s impending appearance:

Who Could Tom Cavanagh Be Playing In Superman & Lois Season 4?
With Reverse-Flash out of the equation, it begs the question of who Cavanagh will actually be playing inSuperman & Loisseason 4. Even though Fletcher says it is the"most Tom Cavanagh character,“it wouldn’t be shocking if he was playing a new Harrison Wells. This would also be a nice way to give a nod to the larger Arrowverse, while also making it a plot twist that there is still a Harrison doppelgänger out there in the multiverse despitethe Arrowverse’sCrisis on Infinite Earths.
If there is anything that Cavanagh proved throughout his time onThe Flash, it is that he can play a very vast range of characters, which is why it was always interesting to see what was going to happen to him every season, since he would consistently play a new version of Harrison. Even though he will only be in one episode ofSuperman & Loisseason 4, it is bound to be memorable nonetheless. The bigger mystery, however, is whether or not he will play an original character or someone from the Superman mythology.
As theSuperman & Loismarketing is underway for the final season, time will tell if viewers will get a glimpse of Cavanagh’s new character. Given that it is supposed to be for theSuperman & Loisseries finale, it is likely that a first look won’t be happening for him until the final month of the show’s airing.
