1Block Accounts You Don’t Want to See

If you’re looking to avoid a certain account on TikTok, you can completely block the account. This will prevent you from seeing any content from that account.

To block an account on TikTok, go to that account’s page, click thearrowin the top right corner, and selectBlockfrom the bottom row of options.

2Select Not Interested on Irrelevant Posts

This may be helpful if, for example, you’re not a gamer but keep seeing content about video games. To do this, press and hold down on the video or photo, then click the broken heart that saysNot Interested. This will signal to the algorithm to not show this type of content while you’re scrolling.

If the For You page isn’t recommending content that you’re interested in, trychanging your FYP to fit your preferences. This includes rewatching content you enjoy and commenting on posts you like.
