Soldier Boy Is Unlikely To Side With The Boys In Season 5
He Is More Aligned With Vought Now
Soldier Boy’s return inThe Boysseason 5 will most likely be far more villainous than his previous introduction, as it is doubtful that he will side with The Boys in season 5. When Soldier Boy was first introduced inThe Boysseason 3,he was being used as a weapon by Hughie and Butcher. The Boys knew that Soldier Boys' radioactive blasts were the only thing that could deactivate Soldier Boy’s powers, and while they planned to use this to kill Homelander at the end of the season, this plot never came to fruition.
Soldier Boy eventually reveals to Homelander that he is his father, with Vought using Soldier Boy’s DNA to create Homelander. This led to the two beginning to see eye-to-eye, with them seemingly aligning in their beliefs before Soldier Boy was taken back into containment by the CIA. Soldier Boy’s capture by the CIA means that he will probably no longer be working with The Boys, as they are CIA assets.
