Eddie Brock Assembles a Team of Symbiote Gods

Venom #35by Al Ewing, Cafu, Frank D’Armata, and Clayton Cowles

Eddie Brock is one of the most powerful characters in Marvel right now. After defeating the former King in Black Knull with the Enigma Force, Eddie has taken his place. With this new power, he seems virtually unkillable and can travel through time and space to controlanysymbiotic material he finds (as well as possessing total control over his human body, healing from any injury.) Knull was so powerful, he brutally killed multiple Celestials and held the entire Earth hostage, fending off a combined attack from Earth’s greatest heroes. When Eddie took his place, he wanted to turn that power to heroism, but he’s since found out that life on the cosmic scale is more complicated than that.

The only thing more powerful than Eddie Brock at this point isfourEddie Brocks. With the vicious Tyro, conniving Wilde, and savage,Hulk-like symbiote Bedlam by his side, Eddie is leading a team of gods who are essentially unkillable and have immense control over time, space and matter.Knull, the original King in Black, took the combined might of every hero team in New York just to stall him until the Enigma Force arrived, and now there arefourcharacters just as strong, working in concert.

The Strongest Heroes On Earth Couldn’t Stop Knull… So How Will They Stop Eddie?

The Avengers and X-Men have faced some pretty dangerous enemies in their time, but they were completely powerless to defeat Knull. It was only because of Venom with the Enigma Force that the entire universe wasn’t destroyed by the original King in Black. Now that Eddie commands three other Kings in Black, there’s really no telling what they’ll be able to achieve with that level of power. Asthe Venom War eventlooms on the horizon, it’s hard to imagine how rival Venom host Dylan Brock can assemble a team that’ll be capable of standing up to the originalVenomEddie Brock’s new team.

Venom

Venom is a symbiotic alien entity bonded with various human hosts, notably Eddie Brock and later Flash Thompson. It grants superhuman strength, agility, and a shape-shifting black costume. Initially a Spider-Man villain due to its origins, Venom evolved into an antihero, battling both villains and his own dark impulses. The character embodies themes of duality and redemption within the Marvel Universe.
