During theClaim to Fameseason 3 week 1 Two Truths and a Lie game,Mackenzie stated that her celebrity relative was her father, who’s a singer who won a Tony Award. However, in her confessional, she admitted that there was nothing associated with Broadway in her family at all, so this meant that the Tony Award was her lie. During theClaim to Fametalent show, Mackenzie said in her confessional that she doesn’t share any talents with her celebrity relative, so she wouldn’t be singing. Instead, she tap danced.
In theClaim to Fameseason 3week 2 spelling challenge,“goatee,“was one of the words.Mackenzie told the cameras that"goatee"was her celebrity relative’s clue. During week 3, the contestants participated in the telephone challenge, during which they had to memorize and recite limericks to each other in order to retell them correctly through a game of telephone. In one of the limericks, there was the line,“He wrote a honky tonk song.“This clue also belonged to Mackenzie.

During theClaim to Fameweek 4 interrogation challenge, Mackenzie shared in her confessional that nobody knew who she was.Her goal was to continuously make people think that she’s related to someone on Broadway. The contestants asked her if her celebrity relative ever played a ballerina, and she answered yes. When Shane won the challenge, he pulled Mackenzie’s Wine Room clue.The clue consisted of six feet, the number 6, a cowboy hat on music notes, an owl with a speech bubble, a man winning, and an ape plus a house with the word"FOR"in it plus an ice cube.

Shane realized that the clue meant that Mackenzie’s celebrity relative is a 6 foot 6 country music star, but he couldn’t figure out the second part of the clue. However, he said that he didn’t care because there are only so many 6 foot 6 country stars out there. Shane told Mackenzie about the"6 foot 6"part of the clue, and she laughed and said that he should keep it to himself. During week 6,Shane admitted in his confessionalthat he had no idea about country music, and he wasn’t sure who Mackenzie’s celebrity relative could be.

Mackenzie is country music legend and actor Trace Adkins' daughter.A visit to Trace Adkins' Instagram page proved that Mackenzie is his daughter.Traceshared a post that included a photograph of him, Mackenzie, and his daughter Trinity visiting him on a set.
Mackenzie’s clues also gave away that Trace is her father.He’s a singer who became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2003. He has a goatee. One of his biggest hits is “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” which he released in 2005. This would explain the"honky tonk song"clue. Trace’s “Dangerous Man” clue referred to his 2006 album of the same name. “Men Love Country Girls” was a play on Trace’s song, “Ladies Love Country Boys.”

In her confessional, Mackenzie said that she was so close to winning, but she was so proud that she made it to the finale. She added that she met so many amazing people who’ll be her friends for life.
