The team was short-lived, though each member has gone on to play a role in the broader X-Men and its assorted offshoots and special squads.
On Instagram, @saramonicosplay and @warpath_dylan shared different shots of their Generation X group cosplay. Members of this Generation X team include Synch, Mondo, Gaia, Jubilee, Banshee, Monet, Emma Frost, Husk, and Chamber. While the majority of them were seen recently within the X-Men’s Krakoan era, Gaia was not and is a standout worth noting.

Though less popular than the primary X-Men team,Generation X was a solid introductionto characters who would later join the primary team. This is particularly true since the team’s main purpose was to learn instead of doing the usual fieldwork Marvel’s mutants are best known for.

@warpath_dylan shared a closer look at Husk, Jubilee, and Chamber, showcasing a cosplay love triangle considering Husk dated Jubilee and had major tension with Chamber following Jubilee’s death. Generation X was a relatively shortlived team, lasting from 1994 to 2001 and spanning seventy-five issues for its first iteration following its start inUncanny X-Men #317.The team later made a brief return in 2017 with a twelve-issue series. DuringtheAge of Apocalypse, the team briefly went by the name Generation Next, but is still best known as Generation X and is one of the most underrated iterations of the X-Men’s assorted teams.
