Xbox Game Pass is adding a major feature that significantly improves one of its services on PC, and it might be flying under the radar.
Game Pass Could Give Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 A Second Life
Why NASB 2 Is Worth Checking Out
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2was overlooked for many reasons. For one thing, it came out just two years after the originalNASB, and so was somewhat overshadowed by its own predecessor. It also got somewhat lost in the glut of big profile, crossover platform fighters that came out around the same time, muddied by things likeMultiVersusstealing its thunder. Butat its core, it was (and still is) a good game.Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2has a diverse rosterof characters:players can select from mascots of new and classic Nicktoons, allowing for wild matchups like Mr. Krabs vs. Zuko, or Ren and Stimpy vs. Raphael.
Mr. Krabs, Zuko, Rocksteady, and Uncle Iroh were all released as DLC characters separate from the main game.

Most importantly,it perfectly captures the cartoonish feel that a Nickelodeon fighter should have.NASB2’s characters have the most appropriately absurd movesets, full of thoughtful references to iconic moments in cartoon history. It’s a lot of fun solo, but even better in multiplayer.
At the time of release,Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2was criticizedfor its online multiplayer hiccups and lack of substantial improvement over the originalNASB. Ultimately, it was hard for players of the first game to justify a full-price upgrade to the second, which only included a handful of new characters and some balance changes. Butall that could change with the sequel’s release on Game Pass. Many of its technical issues have been fixed in invervening updates, and with the base game now available at no additional cost, players are free to try it out as long as they like.
