When Pietro turns Baron Blood’s words against him and gets the better of the vampires, he claims the victory is because “the great Captain America” instilled the idea to always have a backup plan.

Quicksilver wasn’t one of the founding members of the Avengers, but he’s been a core part of the team since “Cap’s Kooky Quartet” days when hejoined with his sister, the Scarlet Witch. He’s had plenty of time to hone his skill as a speedster, stacking feats like throwing thousands of punches a minute and creating tornados with the ability to run at Mach 10 speeds or higher. His physical prowess isn’t the only tool he wields against vampires, though. He pairs his ability to think rapidly with the lessons helearned from Captain Americato cover his bases.

Captain America

Initially debuting in 1940, Captain America is the patriotically themed superhero who has shared the title with only a few individuals. Beginning with Steve Rogers, Captain America’s birth resulted from a frail man taking part in an experimental U.S. Army super-soldier trial, which imbued him with super-human abilities. The character is often depicted wielding a nigh unbreakable and aerodynamic shield made of vibranium that they use to defend and attack their foes.
