Beedle fromThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis not the most popular character to cosplay, but one fan gets it spot-on. The costume is so good, in fact, that he looks like he’s stepped right out of theZeldauniverse and into the real world.

RedditorCptRavioLi69spotted a remarkably accurate Beedle cosplay at the Briscol Renaissance Fair, in Wisconsin. The cosplay includes the character’s trademark backpack shop, complete with the blue and white striped awning, hand-held little counter plank, and a sign reading “Beedle’s Trinkets.”

The cosplay is so accurate that fellow RedditorBob_the_peasantsays it looks like it belongs in a live-action adaptation ofTOTK:“Well, the Zelda movie IS going to be live action… someone get this young-Nathan-Fillion-Type an agent.” The cosplay is even more impressive considering that Zelda andLink are much more common cosplay choices.

Cosplay Features Legend Of Zelda: TOTK and BOTW Version Of Beedle

Everyone’s Favorite Vendor Of Overpriced Arrows

TOTKintroduced many new characters but it also marked the return of several series staples. Among them is Beedle, the traveling salesman. Beedle first appeared inThe Legend of Zelda:The Wind Wakeras a businessman with a dream to start a chain of stores. Since then, Beedle has managed to wander into many otherZeldatitles, providing players with a way to restock on arrows and other goods - for a price.

A recent cosplay of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is “incredible,” according to the Zelda community on Reddit.

The version being cosplayed in the Reddit post is specifically the Beedle that appears inTOTKandBOTW.That iteration of the salesman has all the distinct features of the character, like the red triangular nose and the bowl haircut, but is by far the least creepy version in the series.

Are There Plans For A Zelda: TOTK Movie?

It’s Uncertain For Now

There’s been an influx of video game movies and shows lately, and, for the first time in the history of video gaming movies, many are actually good. The success ofThe Super Mario Bros. MovieandThe Last of Usseries has some fans wondering: Will there be aZeldamovie, too?

The idea isn’t completely out of the question. In a 2023 interview withPolygon,Zeldaproducer Eiji Aonuma and director Hidemaro Fujibayashi showed interest in making a movie. Both Aonuma and Jujibayashi would love to make aZeldamovie a reality but admit that making a movie requires more than just wishful thinking. A visible fan interest would go a long way toward making a movie a reality.
